I was at work when I got a notification from the baby camera. My wife was at home, but I thought I’d take a quick look. The camera picked up some noise, but the baby wasn’t in the crib. I moved the camera around the room, and I saw my wife taking some pictures with our newborn with some Father’s Day items, trying her best to pose him with a big sign that said “we love dad”.

I probably ruined a bit of the surprise, but it was such a special moment. I closed the monitor app and cried for a few minutes at my desk. Life can be so stressful, but sometimes you get the feeling it might just work out.
