| Said another executive, whose team did not bid on Skubal: “No use playing the rest of the year. It’s over.’’ “It will be interesting to see how every contender in the National League reacts,’’ one AL executive said. “Are they still going to be aggressive knowing you got to go through the Dodgers? It’s different in the American League. There’s no super team and you got a real chance to get to the World Series.’’ [link] [comments] |

| Thanks for this sub. You all are great. Just want to remind you to wear a hat in the sun. I was born in 1970 and lost my hair in my early 20s. Never adopted hats until my 40s. This is what a sun damaged scalp looks like after treatment with Efudex, a topical chemotherapy for precancerous and cancerous cells. It feels like it looks, painful and insanely itchy. I also just had a basal cell carcinoma cut out behind my ear. The chemo only affects the precancerous and cancerous cells. So I clearly have a lot of damage. Just wanted to share in the hopes you will take good care of the skin up there. ✌️ [link] [comments] |

I was at work when I got a notification from the baby camera. My wife was at home, but I thought I’d take a quick look. The camera picked up some noise, but the baby wasn’t in the crib. I moved the camera around the room, and I saw my wife taking some pictures with our newborn with some Father’s Day items, trying her best to pose him with a big sign that said “we love dad”.
I probably ruined a bit of the surprise, but it was such a special moment. I closed the monitor app and cried for a few minutes at my desk. Life can be so stressful, but sometimes you get the feeling it might just work out.
Am I alone on this, probably not. I think I tried some A.I.-chat-thingy like half a year ago, asked some questions about audiophilia which I'm very much into, and it just felt.. awkward.
Not to mention what those things are gonna do to people's brains on the long run, I'm avoiding anything A.I., I'm simply not interested in it, at all.
Anyone else on the same boat?
| | Here’s my big three, though I am learning more characters and their kits. I do think it’s crucial to learn other roles and try and stray from playing one main role. As a strategist main, Its definitely difficult to go from someone in the backline keeping my team alive to being the one pushing and trying to stay alive lol… so any tips on playing a tank or dps role would be appreciated.
