The Bose QuietComfort Headphones Are on Sale for $199

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Bose is a recognized name in audio and has been making capable active noise-canceling (ANC) headphones since 2016, when the company launched the QuietComfort line of devices. Right now, you can pick up Bose's entry level QuietComforts for $199, $159 off the original price. This is the lowest price they've reached, according to price-tracking tools, making them a good bet if you're looking to get a high-performance pair of ANC headphones without spending a fortune.

Bose headphones are often found at the top of any roundup of the best headphones on the market and have been consistently praised for years. The QuietComfort line in particular excels in comfort (hence the name) and ANC. If those are features you're after, these headphones are worth considering, especially at this price point.

Keep in mind that this is the entry level model in the current QuietComfort line; Bose released both these and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra in 2023. The Ultras are more high-end and include extra functionality, but they retail for more and aren't necessarily the best bet for every userβ€”if you don't care about Bluetooth 5.3 versus 5.1, immersion mode (which allows you to hear the audio as if it is coming from different directions), or other extraneous features, you can save yourself some money and go with the basic Bose QuietComfort.

These headphones can connect to multiple devices at once, so you can seamlessly transition from one device to the next. They also offer a transparency mode that lets you hear your surroundings while wearing them, a customizable EQ so you can listen to your music how you like it to sound, and an impressive 24 hours of battery life, according to PCMag's "excellent" review. Also worth noting: They have physical buttons rather than touch controls, which will be a plus or a minus, depending on your preferences.

T-Mobile Will Give You a Free iPhone 17e Right Now, No Trade-In Necessary

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

I traditionally have avoided tying my phone to a specific carrier, but I threw all my principles out the window when my local AT&T offered me a free iPhone 17 Pro if I switched, and traded in my beloved unlocked Pixel 9. It was an offer too good to refuse. Now, T-Mobile is offering a similar deal nationwide. Switch allegiances to them and get a free iPhone 17e, no trade-in necessary. Or, you can choose an iPhone 17 if you trade in an eligible device and choose a premium T-Mobile plan. Here are the details.

You have two options: the recently released, affordable iPhone 17e, or the standard iPhone 17 with a more impressive camera.

The iPhone 17e will be totally free with most plans T-Mobile offers (Experience Beyond, Experience More, or the Essentials plan if you're a new member). You can also be a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next member and still qualify. You will need to complete 24 months of bill payments before the phone is truly yours (if you cancel before, you will be charged a pro-rated amount for it). You will still be charged for taxes on the $599.99 iPhone and will need to pay a $35 per line activation fee. And yes, you can keep your old phone number.

For the iPhone 17, the same general rules applyβ€”but you'll also need to trade in an eligible device. These are the phones you can trade in to get up to $830 in credits towards the value of the iPhone 17:

  • Apple iPhone: 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max, 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 16e

  • Google Pixel: 6, 6 Pro, 7 5G, 7 Pro 5G, 8 5G, 8 Pro 5G, 9 5G, 9 Pro 5G, 9 Pro Fold 5G, 9 Pro XL 5G, Fold 5G

  • Motorola: razr 2025, razr ultra 2025, razr+ 2023, razr+ 2024, razr+ 2025

  • OnePlus: 10 Pro 5G, 9 Pro 5G

  • Samsung Galaxy: Note 20 4G, Note 20 5G, Note 20 Ultra 4G, Note 20 Ultra 5G, S20, S20 5G, S20 FE, S20 FE 5G, S20 Ultra, S20+, S20+ 5G, S21, S21 FE, S21 Ultra, S21+, S22, S22 Ultra, S22+, S23, S23 FE, S23 Ultra, S23+, S24, S24 FE, S24 Ultra, S24+, S25, S25 Edge, S25 FE, S25 Ultra, S25+, Z Flip3 5G, Z Flip4 5G, Z Flip5 5G, Z Flip6 5G, Z Flip7 5G, Z Fold3 5G, Z Fold4 5G, Z Fold5 5G, Z Fold6 5G, Z Fold7 5G

Keep in mind, these phones offer up to $830 in credits, which will be applied to your bill over the course of 24 months to pay off the phone. The details will be ironed out by the T-Mobile sales rep you speak with. If you're a new member, you will need to join one of the following plans: Experience Beyond, the Experience More plan with at least 1 line, or the Better Value plan with 3+ lines (starting around $50 per line).

Some shopping categories to keep an eye on:

Below are some of the best deals from these categories I've found so far:

This propane gas grill is 20% off

This four-burner propane gas grill is $199 (originally $249). It has a 566 sq. in. cooking area on its four stainless steel burners made from cast iron cooking grates, giving you plenty of space to cook multiple items at the same time.

A DeWalt pressure washer is 20% off

This DeWalt pressure washer shoots 4,000 PSI for professional-grade cleaning on decks, porches, fences, etc. It includes a 50-foot hose, a triplex pump, five QX nozzles, and a heavy-duty welded steel frame. It's $759 (originally $949) after a 20% discount. Find more outdoor power equipment here.

This LG three-door refrigerator is 48% off

One deal on the appliance page that impressed me was this LG three-door refrigerator, which is $1,599 (originally $3,099) after a 48% discount. It holds 28 cubic ft. and it's 35.75 inches wide.

This seven-piece metal outdoor dining table is $192 off

This rust-free metal table set with six chairs will survive outdoors throughout the seasons. Since there is no cushion on the seats, you don't have to worry about waiting for them to dry after the rain. Get it for $538 (originally $730).

This Ryobi cordless eight-tool combo is 30% off

I actually own this Ryobi eight-tool combo kit, and it has been one of the best purchases I've made as a homeowner. I've basically learned to use every single tool in this kit and have been able to tackle many home projects that I would've otherwise had to get a contractor to do for me. It has saved me a lot of money and made me a lot more confident in my handyman skills. Get it for $369 (originally $529) after a 30% discount.

This smart bidet toilet is $400 off

If you're looking to upgrade your bathroom, there are a few things that will elevate it as much as a smart bidet can. I've been loving my Loniko smart bidet, but this Uncle Brown smart bidet toilet a higher-quality option. You can get it for $699 (originally $1,099) after a 36% discount.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Is $400 Off Right Now

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The Pixel 9 Pro is the most premium model in the Pixel 9 lineup. It was released in August 2024, and the unlocked 128GB Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is discounted to $699 (down from $1,099), but only in the hazel color. That's the lowest price it has yet reached on Amazon, according to price-tracking tools.

This Pixel 9 Pro XL comes with 16GB of RAM, 128GB of memory storage, a 120 HZ refresh rate, and the Android 14 operating system. As Michelle Ehrhardt explained in Lifehacker's review of the Pixel 9 Pro, the phone's hardware is the best Google has produced, but their AI features weren't quite there at the time of launch. However, they've improved a lot since then. Gemini AI has been the best AI experience I've personally had in phone, and I even use it on my iPhone today. The XL version is bigger than the regular Pixel Pro size (hence the name), but it's smaller than previous XL versions at 6.4 by 3.0 by 0.3 inches.

If you have the Pixel 8 Pro, you might not notice a huge difference. However, if you're upgrading from an older phone or switching from a non-Pixel phone, the 9 Pro XL has a lot to love, especially if you prioritize good cameras.

One of the best aspects of Pixel phones is their future-proofing: They tend to receive ongoing support for many years. Older phones like the Pixel 6A still get all of the updates and tons of AI features that make the phone feel fresh many years later. With the Pixel 9 Pro XL, you'll be getting a quality phone that will receive software updates for some time (as long as seven years).

This Compact Bose Portable Bluetooth Speaker Is Cheaper Than Ever Right Now

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Bose knows how to make products that last, and very much follows the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mantra. Take the Bose SoundLink Micro: Released in 2017, it was such a hit, the company waited until last September to introduce a second generation. And right now, you can get the Bose SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) from Amazon for $99 (originally $129), the lowest price it has reached anywhere, according to price-tracking tools.

With the new speaker, Bose improved on the first generation model in two big ways: the charging port (which is now a standard USB-C) and the battery life (which has doubled to 12 hours). It's also a bit heavier and larger, and comes with an adjustable nylon strap you can use to attach it to bikes, bags, or any other object. There's also a new Spotify Tap button that plays your favorite Spotify playlist at a touch. The only real omission is the loss of a mic, so you won't be able to use it to take phone calls anymore.

The Bluetooth multipoint connection lets you connect up to two devices at the same time and switch between them seamlessly. With Speaker Link, you can sync two Bose speakers ato create a stereo setup.

But the best feature of this small speaker is its strong sound for its compact size. It has rich lows and well-defined highs, according to PCMag's "excellent" review, and the higher-resolution aptX Adaptive codec means you get that extra oomph from compatible devices. It's tough to find a speaker that gives you more for your money than the SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen).

Here's What to Expect During Home Depot's 'Spring Black Friday' Sale Starting This Week

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Unlike Best Buy, Walmart, and Target, Home Depot decided not to compete with Amazon during its annual Big Spring Sale; instead, it held off for a couple of weeks, so that sale is now coming up soon. If you still haven't finished your spring shopping, here's another chance to buy key items like power tools, patio furniture, grills, and more, all at a discount.

When will the Home Depot "Spring Black Friday Sale" take place?

Home Depot's "Spring Black Friday Sale" will run for 14 days, starting this Thursday, April 9, and running through Wednesday, April 22. The sale has been going on at the start of spring since the early 2010s.

What can I expect during Home Depot's Spring Black Friday Sale?

Home Depot says they will have deals across key spring categories, including power tools, lawn and garden, patio, grills, and more. Here is what Home Depot has shared so far:

  • Lawn & Garden: Deals on outdoor power equipment, plants, flowers, mulch, weed, and grass killer.

  • Backyard Hosting: Patio furniture, patio dining sets, grills, and composite decking.

  • Pro: Bulk price savings and essentials for the pros, including tools, pipe, water heaters, and paint tools.

  • Home Upgrades: Paint, faucets, flooring, toilets, fans, fencing, cleaning supplies, and appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers.

  • Storage & Organizational Solutions: Tool bags, storage shelves, and storage containers.

  • Top Brands: Nexgrill, Milwaukee, Ryobi, Weber, Trex, Rigid, Traeger, DeWalt, Leviton, GE Appliances, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Vissani, Frigidaire, and StyleWell.

You will be able to shop online and in person. Home Depot will price-match its products to other retailers, so keep an eye out if you find the same product somewhere else. Also, if you're in the U.S. military (active duty, Gold Star family, military reserves, or veteran), you're entitled to a 10% discount (but not for already discounted products).

The LTE Version of This Fitbit for Kids Just Dropped to $100

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Gamifying boring but necessary life tasks has been a thing for a while, and perhaps the most well-known option for fitness in recent years is Fitbit. Since Google owns Fitbit, they've been making fitness smartwatches, bringing the same idea for kids with the Fitbit Ace LTE. This kid-friendly smartwatch is massively discounted, currently $99.95 (originally $229.95 at launch in 2024)β€”the lowest price yet, according to price-checking tools.

The Fitbit Google Ace LTE focuses on making the active lifestyle fun for kids, with engaging games and animated digital animals. It has a screen time limitβ€”if you're playing a game, you need to reach a specified activity goal every five to 10 minutes before you can continue to play. Parents can track their kid's smartwatch with its LTE GPS signal. The smartwatch supports texts and calls, is compatible with Android or iOS, and has parental controls.

The Fitbit Google Ace LTE is not perfect, however. It can be sluggish at times; there is no compatible app for music or sleep tracking; and the rewards system can be a bit muchβ€”all of this according to PCMag's "excellent" review.

The watch is designed for kids between the ages of seven and 11 and you'll need a $9.99 monthly subscription (although they sometimes offer annual Ace Pass subscriptions for 50% off) which is what provides access to games, GPS location tracking, and LTE services. As the parent or guardian, you'll need to download the Fitbit Ace app to set up the watch and subscribe to the Ace Pass data plan.

If you don't pay for the subscription, you'll only have access to basic movement and step tracking, but at that point you might as well get a Fitbit Ace 3 for $75.99.

The Latest M5 MacBook Air Is $150 Off

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Apple announced new products in March, including the new MacBook Air with the M5 chip. This MacBook comes in the 13-inch and 15-inch size, and with other upgrades to the hardware. If you're interested in the new MacBook, Amazon is the place to buy: It's the only major retailer offering both sizes with a $150 discount. The 13-inch MacBook Air is $949.99 ($1,099), and the 15-inch MacBook Air is $,1149.99 (originally $1,299).

The M5 MacBook Air is tempting, starting at $949.99, but you shouldn't be swayed if you already own an M4; the rest of the laptop is virtually the same. Of course, the basic starting model doubles the storage to 512GB, which is nice and only $100 more than the listing price when the M4 was released. But considering the $150 discount, this is a great option for someone upgrading from the M2, M1, or getting their first MacBook.

The M5 chip is powerful and makes the performance much smoother, according to Mashable's review. The aluminum design is as good as you'd expect from Apple's most popular portable laptop, keeping it lightweight and thin. It comes with a Liquid Retina display, Touch ID, a 12MP Center Stage Camera, and Magic Keyboard. The speakers continue to be excellent, despite their small size.

The real question here is whether to go for the older M4 MacBook Air or pay for the newer M5 chip. Both are incredible laptops and likely have more power than you'll realistically need, so if you're getting money from your emergency fund to pay for the MacBook, go with the M4, but if money isn't an issue, the M5 will outlive the M4 for a few years, and the hardware upgrades are always welcome. Considering the price difference between them isn't that much, the M5 is currently a better deal.

This Budget Samsung OLED TV Is Now $500 Off Its Original Price

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

This price cut on the Samsung S85F is one of the best deals on an OLED TV I've seen in 2026β€”and this entry-level model was already on the low end of the price spectrum before the discount.

Right now, you can get the 55-inch model for $897.99 (originally $1,397.99), which is a surprising price point for a Samsung OLED. It's also the lowest price this TV has ever hit, according to price tracking tools. The 65-inch and 77-inch sizes are also discounted, down to $1,197.99 and $1,499.99, respectively.

Not everyone can afford OLED TVs, since they're the most expensive TV technology on the marketβ€”but they're worth the big jump in quality when it comes to picture quality and color accuracy. If you've been waiting for a good opportunity to get a decent-sized, well-reviewed OLED for a great price, consider the Samsung S85F.

As expected, Samsung had to make some cuts to sell an OLED for this price, and those cuts are in the audio department, screen brightness, and by cutting out Dolby Visionβ€”but the picture quality, colors, and gaming features rival premium OLEDs. This OLED came out in Sept. 2025 and has drastically dropped in price since then.

Gamers can use the four HDMI 2.1 ports with support for 4K 120Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium, Nvidia G-Sync, ALLM, and HDR10+ gaming. The lag time is a mere 9.4ms, so you'll get fast, responsive performance. Of course, you also get Samsung’s Gaming Hub with access to cloud gaming apps.

This Is the Ultrawide Curved Gaming Monitor I Would Buy If I Were on a Budget

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

When it comes to gaming monitors, having an ultra-wide screen takes the experience to the next level, with a more immersive experience than a regular monitor. Unfortunately, that improved experience tends to come at a much higher price. But right now, Amazon is selling the 34-inch Samsung Odyssey G5 for $279.99 (originally $399.99), which is the second-lowest price this monitor has ever been, according to price-tracking tools.

TheΒ Samsung Odyssey G5 is a great ultra-wide monitor for those who haven't used one before, with all the important specs you'd want while keeping the price relatively low. Other high-end ultra-wide monitors go for $700 and higher, like the Odyssey OLED G9. Those are much bigger and offer OLED quality visuals, though.

The Odyssey G5 comes with a 1000R curve, which Samsung claims is optimal to avoid eye strain. Your media will be displayed on a 21:9 aspect ratio and 3440x1440 resolution, which means if you watch videos that are not compatible with that ratio, it'll have some black space on the sides to prevent it from looking stretched. You also get a 165Hz refresh rate and native FreeSync variable refresh rate (VRR) support, helping fast games look smoother. The input lag is 1ms, which is very fast for a budget gaming monitor. It's also compatible with HDR10, so movies or shows will look good, but mostly in dark rooms since the HDR peak brightness isn't very high.

The viewing angle is poor, but curved monitors are not really designed for sharing the screen anyway. You can tilt the screen, but that's as much as you'll be able to adjust. If you want to see what the hype of ultrawide curved screens is about without committing to the high-end options, this is a great option to get your feet wet in the technology.

The Roku Streaming Stick HD is $18

The Roku Streaming Stick HD is the most basic Roku Stick you can buy, and it's 40% off right now, making it a great time to upgrade your TV's OS to my favorite one. You can get it for $17.99 (originally $29.99).

Fire TV Sticks are now $25

Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K Plus is one of Amazon's most popular Fire TV Stick options. It's powerful enough for 4K entertainment, and it's just $25 for the Amazon Big Spring Sale (down from $49.99) after a 50% discount. The Fire TV Stick Plus sits above the base Fire TV Stick HD (also discounted right now), and offers a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor coupled with 2GB RAM for fast app launches and smooth navigation.

Anker wired earbuds are $20

If you are looking for earbuds but don't want to pay too much for something you might end up losing, the Soundcore by Anker P20i are a solid pair with some impressive features for their $19.99 price (marked down from $39.99). You get Bluetooth 5.3, 30 hours of battery, water resistance, and a full EQ with its companion app.

This Iniu portable phone charger is $21

I recently lost my Iniu portable charger on a weekend road trip. Fortunately, it was at the end of my trip, and it had served its purpose well, saving my phone's battery (and therefore my life) multiple times. You can get one now for $20.99 (originally $29.99).

A heart rate monitor you can trust for just a little over $25

Okay, yes, I cheated a bit. This one is $27, but trust me when I say those extra $2 will be well spent. The CooSpo chest strap is a specialist. It has one job, which is to measure your heart rate, and it does it so well, Lifehacker's Senior Health Editor Beth Skwarecki uses it to get a baseline when she tests other fitness gadgets. If monitoring your heart is a priority, don't sleep on this chest strap.

These Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Earbuds Are 40% Off During Amazon's Big Spring Sale

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Tech brands love to tout their active noise canceling (ANC) earbuds, but none have reached the standard set by the Bose QuietComfort series. For my money, Bose makes the best ANC gear, and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) are the best ANC earbuds you can buy right now.

The downside of Bose buds is that they're pretty pricey, but you no longer need to spend $300 to get great ANCβ€”not during Amazon's Big Spring Sale. The fantastic first-generation Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds in the Moonstone Blue color are going for $179.99 (originally $299) on Amazon, the lowest price they've ever reached, according to price-tracking tools.

Though they're an older model, the first-gen Bose QuietComfort Ultra Bluetooth earbuds are still an excellent choice. They received an "outstanding" review from PCMag, not just for their best-in-class ANC, but for their great audio quality in general, Spatial audio support, and diverse codec Bluetooth support with AAC and AptX, which makes them great for Android and Apple users alike. However, they're not perfect: They lack multipoint connectivity, which other high-end earbuds at this price point offer, and there is no wireless charging for the case (if you care about that).

The features are what really set these earbuds apart. They have a CustomTune feature that measures your ear canal's shape to tune the sound and establish your best ANC profile. (You can make your own tweaks in the companion app as well.) Bose's "Immersive Audio" feature allows you to hear your surroundings similarly to how you would when wearing open-ear headphones. You can also mess around with the settings to mix and match outside noise and ANC within the Immersive Audio setting on the app.

You'll get about four to six hours of battery life from the buds and another 12 to 18 with the charging case. The earbuds aren't waterproof, but they are water resistant with an IPX4 rating, so you can wear them to the gym without worrying about how much you'll sweat.

10 Hacks Every Amazon Shopper Should Know

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page.

As a shopping writer for Lifehacker, I've learned many tricks over the years that have helped me become a savvy Amazon shopper. You do not need to be a Prime member for most of these, but becoming one will make your Amazon experience better. And yes, it's worth itβ€”we've done the math.

If your shipping is delayed, call Amazon to get free money

If your Amazon delivery is late, you can contact customer service and may be eligible for a refund or credit, often proportional to the product's valueβ€”especially if the order had a guaranteed delivery date. The status of an order on Amazon changes during different stages of the shipment. If Amazon said a delivery was going to arrive at a specific date and later sent a message that it's delayed, get a hold of someone from customer service (this is the quickest way to get someone from Amazon on the phone). Tell them your order is late and you want to be compensated because you needed the delivery on time for whatever reason you can come up with. Customer service is very likely to offer you an Amazon credit. I've personally received a $20 credit when a laptop was arriving late.

Use price tracking tools to get the best prices on Amazon

Knowing an item's price history tells you if you're better off waiting a bit; it also ensures you're getting the best price. There are many tracking tools, but if I were to recommend one for Amazon, it's Keepa. Keepa automatically displays the price history under the image of the product. It also lets you track specific products and sends you notifications when they go below a specific price that you set. You can download the extension for Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Edge, and Safari.

Get the most accurate product reviews from Amazon

Amazon sometimes combines reviews from multiple versions of a particular product. For example, take the review section of this Apple Watch Series 11 GPS. At the time of this writing, it says there are 1,049 customer reviews. But (and here's the hack): If you click on the "All Variants" dropdown and check the specific variant you're looking at, you'll see there are only 194 matching customer reviews (at the time of writing) for this particular model and version. The rest of the reviews are for other sizes, colors, storage size, cellular vs GPS versions, etc.

Ask Rufus, Amazon's AI, questions about products

Last year, Amazon released Rufus AI, which scraped the internet, each Amazon product page, and even product manuals to gather information on each product, no matter how specific the question. It's much faster and sometime more accurate than looking for the answer by reading the manual or the product page. You can find this search bar right on top of the review section or anywhere you see the "Ask Rufus" banner.

Get credits from Amazon when you don't need rushed delivery

Change the delivery time
Credit: Daniel Oropeza

While having two-day delivery is great, it's not always necessary. Sometimes, Amazon will offer you "digital rewards" (essentially free money you can use on Amazon purchases, among other things) to have the shipping not be "Prime" or two days. While the rewards might be smallβ€”usually under $2β€”they quickly add up. Before you know it, you can have a $20 Amazon credit waiting for you on your next checkout payment.

You can game Amazon's "subscribe & save" system

"subscribe & save"

Amazon offers a "subscribe & save" program, which incentivizes you to buy the same product periodically by giving you discounts going up to 15%. It's a neat tool if you, say, buy your protein powder through Amazon and you know you'll need it at least every six months. It's less obvious, though, that you can get that $80 protein powder with the 15% subscribe discount and then cancel the subscription right away, saving you 15% pain-free.

Take advantage of Amazon's free payment plans

Amazon's free payment plans

Your money makes more interest sitting in a savings account (ideally a high-yield one) than giving it away to Amazon. So when they offer you a free payment plan with 0% APR and no strings attached, it's a no-brainer. Not all products will have this option, but most big ticket items being shipped directly from Amazon do. Be careful with this, however: It's all too easy to spend more than you should. Which is why our shopping motto is "Don't buy anything you weren't going to buy anyway."

If you're a young adult or a student, you can get Prime benefits for less

If you're between the ages of 18 and 24 or are currently a student, you get all of the Prime benefits at half the price. This is huge for anyone who is at least one of those two categories.

Use Amazon Family instead of having two separate accounts

I still know many people who share their Amazon accounts, like family, spouses, or roommates. This makes it very hard to keep Secret Santa exciting. People who live in the same household can have a single Prime membership payment, though, while keeping their own accounts private by using Amazon Family. This means your cart won't be full of other people's orders, notifications will only be for your orders, your order history will be showing only your products, etc.

Get free e-books on your Kindle every month

It's not easy to fill a Kindle, but I'm well on my way, thanks to the many free e-books I've gotten through Amazon. If you're a Prime Member, you get two to three free e-books every month through a program called Amazon's First Reads, a curated list of new books handpicked by editors.

The Budget Apple Watch SE 3 Just Got Cheaper Ahead of Amazon's Big Spring Sale

It's a good day for Apple shoppers looking for a deal on a new Apple Watch. The Apple Watch SE 3, the company's most affordable smartwatch model, just dropped to its lowest price yet, according to price-tracking tools. The 40mm Cellular Apple Watch SE 3 is on sale for $249.99 (originally $299), and the bigger 44mm case is also available for the same price.

The SE 3, released in September, is the most affordable option compared to the Series 11 and the Ultra 3, all of which are the latest models released by Apple. The SE3 has the same Apple S10 processor as the Series 11 and better battery life, averaging about 46 hours. It has the always-on display, supports 5G, has gesture controls, on-device Siri processing, ovulation estimates, sleep apnea detection, and wrist temperature sensing. And, of course, you get all of the benefits of the upcoming iOS 26.2.

Since this is the cellular version, you don't need to bring your iPhone along to be able to take calls or text. The improved 5G connectivity means your calls will be less likely to drop, and your downloads and streams will be faster.

If I were a betting man, I'd say you won't find this watch any cheaper during the actual Big Spring Sale that starts tomorrow, given its recent release and Apple's history with sales. This price is likely as good as it's going to get for a while.

The Series 11 is Apple's middle-of-the-pack smartwatch, sandwiched between the budget-friendly Apple Watch SE 3 and the flagship Apple Watch Ultra 3. Right now, both versions of the Series 11 (the GPS model and the GPS + cellular model) are on sale. The GPS version starts at $299 (originally $399) and the GPS + Cellular version starts at $399 (originally $499). If you're looking for the bigger 46mm size, they're both also $100 off both in the GPS and cellular versionsβ€”those are the lowest prices these models have ever reached, according to price-tracking tools.

Compared to the previous generation, the Series 11 improved its battery life, going up to 43 hours with the always-on display enabled, up from 36 hours for the Series 10. The Series 11 also supports 5G cellular, up from LTE on the Series 10. Another big update is that the Series 11 features FDA-approved hypertension notifications, alerting you if it detects signs that you might have high blood pressure. You can read our full review of the device here.

You Can Preorder the New Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Get Up to a $30 Amazon Gift Card

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

Samsung just announced its new earbuds during the Samsung Unpacked 2026 event earlier this week, and Amazon is already offering a pretty sweet deal to preorder them. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are $179.99 and come with a $20 Amazon gift card, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro go for $249.99 and come with a $30 Amazon gift card. Both will be released on March 11, but you can pre-order them now. Considering these will be their flagship earbuds for some time, it's a great opportunity for any Samsung fan or anyone curious about Samsung's new earbuds to snatch them up.

Samsung wants to compete with Apple, with a similar design, features, and even price point. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are strikingly similar to the Apple AirPods 4 in their design, with noise cancellation and the absence of silicone eartips that go inside your ears. They come with Hi-Res audio, IP54 for water-resistance, a Live Translation feature similar to Apple's, a new design, improvements in call quality, and direct access to ask questions to AI and receive responses through the earbuds. The controls are swipe and pinch, and the charging case comes in black or white.

It's also easy to draw the similarities between the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and the Apple AirPods Pro 3. Apart from both being $249, the most obvious similarity is the in-ear silicone tip design that helps seal the noise and improve ANC. The Pros have all of the same features as the Buds 4, and are supposed to be more comfortable, have better ANC which Samsung calls ANC 2.0, have a better water resistance with an IP57 rating, which handles immersion in water up to 1 meter, and perhaps more importantly, a two-way speaker (as opposed to a one-way on the Buds 4) that is meant to delivers better, high-fidelity sound, superior separation of frequencies, and reduced distortion. But we will only know if these claims are true when we get our hands on them for a review.

These 'Nothing' Earbuds With an Open-Ear Design Are $50 Off Right Now

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Open ear design headphones are picking up steam, possibly because ANC technology has become so good that people are forgetting what the sound of birds singing sounds like (or is that just me?). Nothing is a newer brand that has started off well, making good value products with great features that are very competitive with more well-known brands. The Nothing Ear (Open) is their first open ear design earbuds from 2024, and it's currently $99 ($149) for Prime Members, the lowest price it has been, according to price tracking tools.

The Nothing brand offers many features on their products that you usually see on higher-end products. The Nothing Ear (Open) are no exception. These earbuds come with multipoint connection, so you can hook it up to your phone and laptop simultaneously. There's also a "Find My Earbud" feature that plays a loud sound on the earbuds so you can find them (different and not compatible with Apple's Find My). There's also a low-lag mode with 120 milliseconds of latency for gaming, so the audio will be in sync with your actions. If you use a supported Nothing phone, this feature is automatic, and there's also a ChatGPT integration that you can access directly through the earbuds.

The battery lasts eight hours, and the case offers an extra 30 hours of juice with a 10-minute wired charge, giving you two hours of listening time. The Nothing Ear (Open) comes with a microphone AI technology that reduces environmental noise so you can be heard better. The companion app also has an advanced EQ feature that lets you tweak your sound. The sound is impressive for the open ear designβ€”just don't expect powerful bass, according to PCMag's "excellent" review (this is the case for all open ear designs, though).

When You Buy a Pair of These Bose Earbuds, You Can Get a Second Pair Free

By: Daniel Oropeza β€”

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The only thing better than one pair of Bose earbuds is getting two for the same price. Right now, the company is running a BOGO sale of sorts: When you buy a pair of either the latest Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds ($299) you'll get a free pair of refurbished Bose Ultra Open Earbuds (a $249 value). Or, you can get the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for $299 and get a free refurbished pair of first-gen QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (a $249 value).

I've reviewed the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen), and they have the best ANC I've ever tried. As the name implies, they're comfortable and offer a friendly, minimalistic user experience that I've come to appreciate after testing so many earbuds. The audio is nothing less than what I expect from Bose, and the immersive mode is incredible, making the music truly come to life. I also love their practical features, like the transparency mode coming on when you take one earbud out. Simple, yet so appreciated.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have the sort of open-ear design that has been growing in popularity, likely because active noise-canceling tech has gotten so good that people have forgotten what nature sounds like. The Ultra Open Earbuds are Bose's stab at the trending tech, and they're pretty decent. But when you get a free refurnished pair of QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (1st Gen) along with them, they become a great option for those looking for an open-ear feel.

This BOGO deal is perfect for people who want to experience both ANC and an open-ear design. Both have very different uses: ANC is great when trying to focus or really get into your media. The open ear design is great for outdoor activities when you need to be aware of your surroundings, or when you want to interact with your environment, like in an office, or working with people. This is an affordable way to get earbuds for either situation.
