Police Accidentally Shot and Killed Victim During Manchester Terrorist Attack

In a statement Friday, the police said that one of the men killed at the Heaton Park Congregation synagogue in northwestern England had been hit by police gunfire.

Police officers in Manchester, England, on Thursday. The attack on the synagogue came on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, and has added to growing fears about a rising wave of antisemitism.
