Subway Service Is Fully Restored After Derailment in Manhattan

The 1, 2 and 3 lines were back in service after tracks were repaired, and an investigation was continuing into the cause of a collision last week.

The derailments of two trains left 26 people injured, but no one was seriously hurt.

Twenty-six people were injured when two trains collided on Thursday afternoon. Service remained disrupted on Friday.

The subway derailment on Thursday, which happened near the station on 96th Street and Broadway, was the first involving passengers in several years.
