Partial Victory for Prince Harry as Murdoch’s U.K. Tabloids Admit Unlawful Activities

Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers offered Harry an “unequivocal apology,” admitting for the first time to unlawful activities at The Sun and agreeing to pay what it called substantial damages.

Prince Harry would have been required to pay the legal costs of both sides unless the court awarded him an amount equal to what News Group Newspapers had offered him.
