The Apple Watch Ultra 2 Is Back to Its Lowest-Ever Price

Apple's flagship products rarely get substantial discountsβ€”but if you wait for the right moment, you can grab a great deal. If you've been eyeing Apple's top-of-the-line smartwatch, that moment is now: The Apple Watch Ultra 2 has dropped to $549.99 on Amazon, saving you $250 off the retail price. This matches the lowest price it has yet reached, according to price tracking tools.

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 was released in September 2023, and after the Ultra 3 dropped last two years later. it was inevitable that the Ultra 2 would see a price reduction. The cool thing is you don't need the latest model to receive the latest WatchOS features, since Apple has a good record of updating their flagship products for many years to come.

The Ultra is the premium Apple Watch model, with the biggest case size, brightest screen (3,000 nits), deepest water resistance (100 meters), and longest battery life (up to 36 hours).

The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is packed with fitness-focused features, but even if you aren’t a health nut, it also has a lot of great features for casual users. People who want a reliable sleep tracker can learn a lot about their sleep habits with the Ultra 2 as long as they keep it well-charged.

Currently, all sizes are available for $549.99, but not all colors are available. You can read more about this watch on PCMag's "excellent" review.

The Ultra 2 is different than the previous first-generation Apple Watch Ultra, which you can find for $319 refurbished at Amazon. It’s also different from the Apple Watch Series 11, which you can get for $329 on Amazon right now. If you're looking for the latest budget-friendly Apple Watch, consider the third-generation Apple Watch SE available for $269 (originally $299).

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: The AirPods Pro 3

8 January 2026 at 19:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The latest AirPods Pro are a big step up from the first-generation buds. The third (and newest) generation comes with OTA updates that the AirPods Pro 2 also get to enjoyβ€”but considering the second and third generations are the same price right now, why not go with the newer version? The AirPods Pro 3 are down to $199 (originally $249.99), which they briefly hit back in December during the holiday salesβ€”the lowest price yet, according to price tracking tools.

The AirPods Pro 3 improve on already great premium earbuds with new features (like a heart rate sensor) without increasing the list price. You'll get Personalized Spatial Audio (so you can hear sounds seemingly coming from different directions as you move your head) and the ability to use head gestures to tell Siri "yes" or "no" (this also works for answering or denying calls). Apple added a live translation feature to both the second- and third-generation AirPods Pro when iOS 26 rolled out earlier this year. You'll also get features like Conversation Awareness, which lowers your music volume when your AirPods detect that you're talking to someone; Transparency Mode, which lets you better hear your surroundings while your earbuds are in; and Adaptive Audio, which combines ANC and Transparency mode to adjust ANC levels based on the noise around you.

Since these are in-ear earbuds (as supposed to regular earbuds like the AirPods 4) the ANC is much better since it naturally blocks out the noise with a tight seal, but the ANC technology itself has also improvedβ€”as has the sound quality, thanks to the new H3 chip, as PCMag detailed in its "exemplary" review, calling them the best earbuds your money can buy. You can expect about eight hours of juice, depending on your usage, and another 24 hours from the charging case.

You Can Get the CMF Nothing Headphone Pros for $79 Right Now

7 January 2026 at 21:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Nothing, an upstart tech brand from the U.K. that makes products like phones, smartwatches, and headphones, has quickly become one of my favorites lately. Its products offer unique features and designs, and the prices are competitive. Right now, Nothing's latest budget over-ear headphones, which were released in October, the CMF Headphone Pros, are just $79 (originally $99), the product's lowest price ever, according to price-tracking tools. This is a great option for anyone looking to get budget over-the-ear headphones that punch above their weight.

Very much like Nothing's CMF Buds Pro 2 earbuds, the CMF Headphone Pros are budget headphones that punch above their weight. They are an affordable alternative to the popular Headphone 1 (which will cost you $299), and are the first to seamlessly integrate into the Nothing/CMF ecosystem, including smartphones, watches, and other audio products. There is a companion Nothing X app that allows you to customize action buttons, among other things, but the cool thing about these headphones is the control you get without needing the app.

There is a multi-function roller on one side of the headphone that you can roll to adjust volume or press to control the ANC modes, which include adaptive ANC (adjusting cancellation/transparency in real-time) and Spatial Audio (creates an immersive, 3D soundstage for music/movies). On the other side, you'll find an "Energy Slider," which tunes your sound in real-time, instantly adjusting the treble and bass balance. You get an impressive 100 hours of playback on a single charge (reduced to up to 50 hours with ANC turned on) as well as AAC, SBC, and LDAC support. They have an IPX2 rating for resistance against sweat, and there is a 3.5mm audio jack for wired listening.

Nothing is well known for its minimalistic design, but these headphones go a bit further by allowing you to mix and match the earcups with different colors (they sell for $25). These are a good option for those looking for a bold style budget over-ear headphones that have great battery life and punch above their price point.

The New LTE Google Pixel Watch 4 Is $100 Off Right Now

6 January 2026 at 19:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The new Google Pixel Watch 4 came out in the late summer of 2025, and it's already heavily discounted. You can now get the 41mm LTE Google Pixel Watch 4 in all three colors for $349.99 (originally $449.99), the lowest price it has ever been, according to price tracking tools. It now comes with a much faster charging time, satellite SOS, dual-band GPS, and a new circular display design.

Senior Health Editor Beth Skwarecki got her hands on a Google Pixel Watch 4 to review and loved it. The new charging dock sits flat on a surface, and you pop the watch on it sideways, almost like a MagSafe charger. Speaking of charging, it only takes a little over 30 minutes to fully charge; a 15-minute charge takes it from 0% to 50%. It's one of the fastest charge times I've ever seen on any device. The new design has a bigger, expanded circular display running 320 pixels per inch. It also gets brighter with up to 3,000 nits of brightness.

If you get this LTE version, you'll have some nice features that the wifi version doesn't. You can send satellite SOS messages to emergency services and your emergency contacts, even if you don't have cellular service. As long as you have a clear view of the sky, you should have satellite communication. This satellite SOS feature lets you alert 911 and receive emergency services.

Most of the other features are pretty similar to the Pixel Watch 3. You get built-in Gemini for voice control, accurate sleep tracking and exercise data with Accelerometer, Heart Rate Monitor, GPS, Blood Oxygen Monitor, Temperature Sensor, Pedometer, Gyroscope, Barometer, ECG, and Light Sensor.

The Pixel Watch 4 is one of the best-looking and longest-lasting Android smartwatches in the market right now, and at its lowest price, it's a worthwhile deal.

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: These Shokz Bone Conduction Headphones

5 January 2026 at 17:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Bone conduction headphones are ideal for activities where it is vital to your safety to hear your surroundings. That's because they use a technology that sends audio vibrations through to the inner ear while leaving your ear canals open. Shokz is one of the best brandsβ€”if not the best brandβ€”making bone conduction headphones right now; at the high end of Shokz's offerings is the OpenRun Pro 2, which I got to review and put to the test. But the OpenRun Pro are also quality headphones and are currently discounted to $109.95 (originally $179.95), the lowest price they've been, according to price-tracking tools.

If you've never used bone conduction headphones, they're worth a try, and the Shokz OpenPro are a great introduction. The technology has come a long way since their early days. The major downside of the way they work has been that the bass doesn't sound as good as their in-ear counterparts. The OpenRun Pro is designed to compensate for some of thatβ€”you won't get the same thumpy bass you'd get from regular headphones, but it'll be the best you can get from any other bone conduction headphones.

As the name implies, these are meant to be used on runs outdoors. They have an IP55 rating for dust- and water-resistance, are lightweight and comfortable, and, because of their design, can be worn with bicycle helmets and sunglasses.

You can use these as everyday headphones around the house, as well, since they can take calls; just be mindful that they don't block any sound. If you plan to use these in a location with a loud music or has a lot of ambient noise, you'll hear everything, so you might prefer taking regular headphonesβ€”but that will defeat the purpose of the "open ear" headphones.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds Are $100 Off Right Now

31 December 2025 at 17:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Open-ear design earbuds have been getting popular, likely because active noise-canceling tech has gotten so good that people have forgotten what nature sounds like. The Ultra Open Earbuds are Bose's attempt at the trending tech, and they're decent. But at their current price of $199.99 (originally $299.99), they are also a steal. This is the lowest price they've ever been, according to price-tracking tools.Β

Open-ear designs are not for everyoneβ€”especially audiophiles. They have the same downside as bone conduction headphones: They let noise pollution in, and the bass and some mids are weak. But you can hear if a cyclist is about to pass you as you're running on the bike path.

The Bose Ultra Open are not waterproof, but they are water-resistant with an IPX4 rating, meaning they can take some splashes, but don't put submerge them in water. There is a wireless charging case you can get separately if you don't want to use the USB-C connection to charge it. You'll get about 7.5 hours of juice if you have the Immersive Audio feature off, and about two charges with the case for a total of around 27 hours.

While these earbuds don't have multipoint connection, they do have a feature to pair two devices simultaneously and switch between them by pressing a button on the earbudβ€”a controlled multipoint connection of sorts. They are compatible with Bluetooth 5.3 and work with the AAC, AptX Adaptive, and SBC codecs, so Android devices will get better audio than Apple users. Both users will be able to customize the EQ on the app and use features that you can read more about in CNET's review.

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: These Meta Quest 3S Bundles

31 December 2025 at 17:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Meta has made virtual reality accessible to many more people, offering good VR headsets for much cheaper than the competition. Right now, the 128GB Meta Quest 3S Gorilla Tag Bundle is on sale for $249.99 (originally $299.99) and comes with a $50 Amazon gift card by hitting the "redeem" button or using the code "QUEST50" at checkout. This is the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools, and the gift card makes it an even better deal. You can also double the storage with the 256GB Meta Quest 3s Batman: Arkham Shadow bundle (select the "256GB Batman Included" version) for $349 (originally $399.99), which also comes with a $50 Amazon credit using the same promo code.

The Meta Quest 3 has better graphics, but it costs substantially more (currently $499.99) than the 3S version. Lifehacker staff writer Stephen Johnson tested both VR headsets to decide which of the two is better, and the Meta Quest 3S was his winnerβ€”you can read a more in-depth review of the Quest 3S here. There isn't enough of a difference between the two models to justify the additional cost, with the Quest 3S's graphics looking very close to the 3 and running the same games and apps.

The Meta Quest 3S has a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor, 8GB of RAM, a display resolution of 1,832 by 1,920 (per eye), and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Once you put them on, the horizontal field of view is 96 degrees, and the vertical view is 90 degrees. The audio is stereo, which is nice, and the speakers are compatible with 3D spatial audio. When it comes to battery life, expect up to two and a half hours of juice before having to recharge (it takes about two hours for a full charge).

What makes the Meta Quest 3S special is how cheap it is to jump into the VR world, with other headsets going for much more (Apple's Vision Pro is still $3,499). The bundle deal and gift cards make these deals even better.

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: The Nothing CMF Watch 3 Pro

30 December 2025 at 17:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

You've probably heard of the upstart tech brand Nothing by now, but if you haven't, here's a quick TLDR: The UK-based tech startup aims to make products like cellphones and headphones that incorporate innovative features and designs at a low price point. The company released its new smartwatch this summer, the CMF Watch 3 Pro, and it's already discounted by 20%. Originally $99, you can now grab one for $64.57.

The CMF Watch 3 Pro is designed for "everyday users and casual fitness explorers," and just given the price, it's already a strong contender for best budget smartwatch/fitness tracker of 2025. The most impressive aspect of this watch is its direct ChatGPT integration: You can use voice prompts to ask the chatbot questions or set reminders, among other things. One neat feature is its ability to record voices and auto-transcribe conversations or notes (great for work meetings or class). How well it works, though, remains a bit of an open question, as it has yet to be widely reviewed.

If you've used the CMF Watch 2 Pro, you'll already be familiar with the design, which hasn't changed much. It's still got a round display with a rotating crown on the top right, though the display is a bit biggerβ€”1.43 inches compared to the Watch 2 Pro's 1.32 inches. Nothing kept the auto brightness adjustment, which is determined by the built-in sensor and makes it very practical to walk outdoors from a dimmer indoor setting and vice versa. They also kept the dual-band GPS support with access to five satellite systems, providing greater accuracy when tracking your outdoor activities.

The real upgrades come mainly from the software. The Watch 3 Pro has over 130 sport modes, compared to 120 on the older model. The battery now lasts 13 days with a single charge, which is two days longer than before. It's certainly in the running for the best sub-$100 smartwatch you can buy right now.

This Bose SoundLink Flex Is Currently Its Lowest Price Ever

29 December 2025 at 20:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Bose makes speakers that have dominated their space, and when it comes to portable mid-size rugged speakers, the Bose SoundLink Flex has been one of the best since its release in 2021. The second-generation Bose SoundLink Flex came out last year, and it improves certain aspects to keep the speaker competitive. Currently, you can get it for $119 (originally $149), the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools.

The second-generation Bose SoundLink Flex is the middle sibling between the oldest (but smallest) Bose SoundLink Micro, and the youngest (but largest) Bose SoundLink Max. The Flex also strikes a good middle ground between them in terms of portability and sound, making it the best portable speaker for most people.

The Flex has an IP67 rating, which means you get complete protection against water and dust. The speaker even floats in the water, so you can bring it with you into the pool. While it doesn't offer full EQ customization in its companion app (it only has a three-band EQ), the sound has rich bass depth and clear highs out of the box. It also features a speakerphone, allowing you to take calls and speak with it, thanks to its built-in microphone. It now comes with a USB-C charger too, allowing for faster charging. At 3.6 by 7.9 by 2.1 inches (HWD) and 1.3 pounds, it's light and portable, and the Bluetooth 5.3 supports multipoint connectivity and SBC, AAC, and aptX codecs.

The SoundLink Flex is ideal for those who want to take their speaker with them anywhere, thanks to its compact size and light weight. And for the price, it offers some of the best audio available.

This Last-Minute Sale on the Switch 2 Bundle Is Available at Best Buy Today

24 December 2025 at 17:45

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World bundle is in stock at Best Buy after running out of stock very quickly on Amazon. The deal includes the new console with the new Mario Kart for the same price as the standalone console. You can get this one for $449 (down from $499)β€”the lowest price it has reached yet, according to price-tracking tools. (Note that you can only see the price once you've signed in and it's in your cart, as Nintendo restricts retailers from promoting anything below the "minimum advertised price" of $499.) To top it off, Best Buy is somehow promising to have it delivered to your home by 9 p.m. tonight, Dec. 24β€”a true Christmas miracle. Not all locations will be available, so make sure you see the "shipping get it by 9 p.m. today" note above "add to cart." You can also pick it up within an hour if time is of the essence.

This bundle deal is great, and likely the best one you'll see for quite some time, judging by Nintendo's previous deals. To put it into perspective, the OLED edition of the original Nintendo Switch is $400 right now, meaning you can get the new Switch 2 with Mario Kart for $50 more. The new console is also an upgrade in every way, according to Associate Tech Editor Michelle Ehrhardt's Nintendo Switch 2 review. The ergonomics and design have improved, making it much better to hold and look at. The battery life has also improved, now with about 180 minutes of handheld playtime before the juice runs out.

A big plus is that the Switch 2 is backwards compatible, meaning you can play your old Switch games on it. Some Switch games have the ability to upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition by buying that game's upgrade pack. This is especially worth it for games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which will look better on the Switch 2.

There aren't a lot of Switch 2 games out at the moment, but there are some classic Nintendo games to keep you busy until the library expands, like Donkey Kong Bananza, Kirby Air Riders, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment.

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: This Bose Smart Soundbar

24 December 2025 at 16:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The Bose Smart Soundbar wasn't very well received by reviewers when it came out last year, citing small improvements for a larger price tag. But now with a $100 discount, we can have a serious conversation about who it's good for. You can get the Bose Smart Soundbar for $399 (originally $499), the lowest price it has been, according to price-tracking tools.

The Bose Smart Soundbar is the successor to the Bose Smart Soundbar 600, which was already a very good soundbarβ€”so needless to say, standards were high. Bose essentially made a new soundbar with more modern features, but didn't upgrade the hardware, bringing into question the steep price increase, according to PCMag's and many other reviews. If you already have a 600, it's not worth upgrading even with the discount. However, if you're looking for a modern premium soundbar that has enough bass to not need a subwoofer, then consider the new Bose Smart Soundbar.

Like most premium speakers, the soundbar doesn't need a subwoofer, because it creates its own bass, but the output will never match that of a dedicated subwoofer. This works well for bedrooms or small apartments. But keep in mind you can always add a subwoofer and/or rear speakers. Speaking of which, if you own Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, you can connect them to the soundbar to work as rear satellite speakers, creating a pseudo-surround-sound system (only for you, though).

As the name implies, this is a "smart" soundbar, with wifi, meaning as long as you're in the same wifi network, you can stream your media to it with AirPlay or Chromecast. The instrument separation is what makes this soundbar shine, which goes hand-in-hand with the AI Dialogue Mode feature for dialogue enhancement. But if you can afford to spend a bit more, the Sonos Beam Gen 2 is the best stand-alone soundbar you can buy.

The Amazon Echo Spot is one of four Alexa smart speakers you can get right now. It's between the older 5th-generation Echo Dot and the new Echo Dot Max. It's currently $44.99 (originally $79.99) after a 44% discount, the lowest price it has reached according to price tracking tools.

The Echo Spot is a mix between a screenless Echo smart speaker and the Echo Show; it has a screen but lacks a full smart display. According to PCMag's review, it's more of a smart speaker with a very basic screen that the time, temperature, weather, day of the week, the date, and the album art when it's playing music. It's compact but delivers impressive sound for its size, making it a great smart speaker to keep on a nightstand to use as an alarm clock.

It's not as powerful a speaker as the 5th-generation Echo Dot, but it's newer, and it has the touchscreen display, which you can use to manage basic settings like audio playback and trigger your compatible smart home devices.

The Sonos Ace Headphones Are $120 Off Right Now

12 December 2025 at 21:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

You've probably heard of Sonos smart speakers and soundbars, which offer some of the best audio quality in the market. What you may not know, however, is that Sonos also makes the excellent Sonos Ace headphones, which were released last summer. Right now, they're on sale for $279 (originally $449), the lowest price they've ever been, according to price-tracking tools.

The Sonos Ace are soft, comfortable, and adaptable to different head sizes, thanks to their plastic design. You get actual buttons to control the headphones (as opposed to touch controls), which I personally consider a huge plus. The battery life is impressive, with about 30 hours with either the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) or Aware Mode settings active, or about 40 hours with both of those off. The Bluetooth multipoint connectivity means you can connect up to two devices at once and switch seamlessly between them.

The headphones perform well, according to PCMag's "excellent" review. The sound is balanced with an EQ adjuster in the app, and the ANC and Aware Mode are top-tier, competing with the best headphones on the market. Unfortunately, the Sonos Ace aren't wifi-enabled, meaning you can't stream media into them like you can with Sonos speakers, but then again, not many headphones are. However, you can connect to Sonos speakers through Bluetooth and listen to your media that way (if you own Sonos speakers).

At their current price, the Sonos Ace are competitive with the best headphones for Apple users, the AirPods Max, and the best headphones for Android users, Sony's WH-1000XM6, and arguably offer a better value since they're much cheaper. If you care about transparency mode or have Sonos speakers at home, the Sonos Ace headphones are your best choice.

The AirPods Pro 3 Are Now Under $200 for the First Time

The AirPods Pro 3 are down to $199 (originally $249.99) for the first time since their September releaseβ€”the lowest price yet, according to price tracking tools.

The AirPods 4 With (and Without) ANC Are Under $100 Right Now

11 December 2025 at 19:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

The latest AirPods 4 have dropped to a record low price, according to price-tracking tools, and they've been selling out on Amazon consistently. But if you haven't had a chance to snag one up, Walmart has the AirPods 4 (without active noise cancelling, aka ANC) forΒ $74 (originally $129.99), the cheapest they've ever been, and the ANC AirPods 4 for $99 (originally $179.99).

The AirPods 4 have updated USB-C charging. Both models (the ANC and non-ANC) are powered by Apple's H2 chip, so you'll get Personalized Spatial Audio (so you can hear sounds seemingly coming from different directions as you move your head) and the ability to use head gestures to tell Siri "yes" or "no" and answer calls. Apple added a live translation feature to the ANC model when iOS 26 rolled out earlier this year.

The biggest difference if you choose to go with the non-ANC is that you'll miss out on the charging case with a built-in speaker, which you can use with Find My to locate it if you lose them. You'll also miss features like Conversation Awareness, which lowers your music volume when your AirPods detect that you're talking to someone; Transparency Mode, which lets you better hear your surroundings while your earbuds are in; and Adaptive Audio (combines ANC and Transparency mode to adjust ANC levels based on the noise around you).

Both versions are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, offer up to five hours of listening per charge (up to 30 hours with the charging case), and can handle automatic switching with your other Apple devices. You can read more about the non-ANC AirPods in PCMag's "excellent" review, and more about the ANC AirPods in PCMag's "outstanding" review.

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: The Sony XM6 Over-Ear Headphones

11 December 2025 at 16:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Sony's 1000X series has been around since 2016, improving on the previous iteration to eventually land on the Sony WH-1000XM6 in 2025, which are the best over-ear headphones I tested in 2025 (and ever, really). Right now, you can get the WH-1000XM6 headphones for $398 (originally $459.99), their lowest price ever, according to price-tracking tools.

The XM6 headphones improve on what were already excellent headphones. Sony upped the count of microphones from eight to 12 when compared to the XM5, which improves more than just how well you sound to someone on a phone call. The microphones are used in almost all of its features, like ANC, Adaptive Sound Control, and the headphones' Ambient Sound mode. They hear your surroundings to adapt their features accordingly. If you switch from a noisy room to a quiet one, the XM6 can switch from ANC to aware mode (if you have Adaptive Sound Control on).

These headphones have a lot more features that you can nerd out on in their companion app. The audio quality is second to none, with the fully customizable EQ giving you plenty of options to get the sound how you like it. I really like being able to see what codec you're listening to in the app's main menu. That way, there's no guessing if you're getting the best audio quality or not. They will give you 30 hours of battery life with ANC on and 40 hours of juice with ANC off. There's an AUX (3.5mm) jack for wired listening, which is a nice touch for audiophiles who still rock iPod Classics (or is that just me?).

The XM6s are not just the best headphones of 2025, but are likely to be the best ones for years to come. For $398, you'll be securing the best for a record low price we likely won't see again for a while.

Apple released the latest 14-inch MacBook Pro with the powerful M5 chip this October, and ever since then, it has been steadily dropping in priceβ€”right now, it's down to $1,349 (originally $1,599) for the base model. This new price is $50 cheaper than it was during Black Friday, when Lifehacker's Senior Tech Editor Jake Peterson called it "a ridiculously good value." At the time of this writing, Amazon is sold out of the base model, but it's still available at Best Buy.

To be honest, this laptop is overkill for most people. The M4 MacBook Air is a more than capable laptop and will get the job done for under $800, but for those who need that extra oomph, like those who do media editing or complex programming, the MacBook Pro will be worth every penny. This is the first laptop Apple makes with the latest M5 chip, which offers significant upgrades in many aspects, like graphics performance compared to the M4.

In addition to performance improvements over the MacBook Air, the Pro model also has a fan, which the MacBook Airs don't. This should help keep the machine's temperature down and prevent performance hiccups.

This base model starts with a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU M5 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. PCMag says this laptop is so powerful that you can play most games without issues in its "outstanding" review. If you're looking for the one of the best laptops Apple has to offer, this is likely the best price you'll see on it for some time.

My Favorite Amazon Deal of the Day: The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones

When it comes to buying the best headphones at the best price, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra is at the top of the list for active noise-cancelling (ANC) right now, while also excelling in other important categories. Right now, the Bose QuietComfort Ultras (in the "deep plum" color) are $269.99 (originally $429), a record-low price according to price-tracking tools. The other colors are also discounted but not quite as steeplyβ€”for example, you can get "white smoke" for $299 or "Lunar Blue" for $349.

Few other brands can compete with Bose's QuietComfort Ultra lineup when it comes to ANC. Apart from the headphone model, they also make some of the best ANC earbuds, both using the same tech. PCMag's "outstanding" review goes into detail on how the headphones do the best job at dialing back low-frequency rumbles, as well as lows and mids.

Despite those plaudits, they're not perfect: Some high-frequency sounds still make it through the ANC technology (that's the case for all ANC headphones, though). But these headphones performed better at ANC than their other two main competitors at the time of their respective release, Apple AirPods Max and the Sony WH-1000XM5. Of course, the new Sony WH-1000XM6 has new ANC technology that outshines the QuietComfort Ultra, but you'd be paying a premium for those.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones launched in the fall of 2023 with many reviewers praising their overall quality, but earning complaints for their pricing, at almost half a grand. At their current discounted price, there is no better value for your money if you value top-tier ANC. Another great feature of the headphones is their transparency mode, meant to be used to allow you to better hear your surroundings (cars, bikes, or people around you) while wearing them.

You can expect about 24 hours of juice with a full charge, or about 18 hours if you're using ANC. The accompanying app has a well-designed, customizable EQ.
