This Bissell Cordless Stick Vacuum Is $160 Off for October Prime Day

6 October 2026 at 19:45

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Pet hair tends to gather in inconvenient and less conspicuous placesβ€”along baseboards, under furniture, and on upholsteryβ€”which can make dragging out a full-size upright vacuum feel like more trouble than the mess warrants. The cordless Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is designed for these routine cleanups, and it is currently on sale for $199.99 (originally $359.99). That is a $160 savings.

Beyond pet-related messes, the PowerClean can also pick up crumbs, dust, tracked-in dirt, and other debris that accumulates between more thorough cleaning sessions. Because it converts from a standard stick vacuum into a handheld model and works with several attachments, you can move from cleaning floors to tackling furniture, stairs, and narrow spaces without reaching for a different machine. That versatility carries over to the way it cleans: Two self-cleaning brush rolls handle everything from scattered pet food to finer particles like fur and dust, while Bissell’s AutoAdapt system increases the suction when it detects a dirtier spot, allowing you to continue across the room without repeatedly stopping to manually change modes.

The headlights on the floorhead add another practical touch, helping expose pale fur on rugs and fine dust on hard floors as you move around the room. That said, while Bissell says the battery can last up to 50 minutes, that estimate applies only when the detachable handheld vacuum is running in its lowest-power modeβ€”and using stronger suction or the motorized floorhead will reduce that runtime. The 0.4-liter dust cup is another limitation, particularly in homes with several shedding pets, where it may need to be emptied during a longer cleaning session.

These small compromises aside, the PowerClean will suit anyone who needs a cordless vacuum that can cover floors, stairs, furniture, and pet beds without requiring much setup or a full-size machine, especially at its current $160 discount.

You can shop the 55-inch going for $649.99 (originally $1,299.99) up to the 100-inch class going for $2,499.99 (originally $4,499.99).

In my opinion, 65-inch TVs are the perfect size for most people, provided you have the space for one of themβ€”it's big enough that you will never feel like it's too small, but it's not so big that it will dominate your living room. There is a lot of competition for QLEDs at this size, but the U7SG offers great value for its specs: It has 4K resolution, Dolby Vision compatibility (including HDR10+, HDR10, and HDR10+ Adaptive), Dolby Vision IQ support, and full-array local dimming.

This TV uses the Google OS, which is my personal favorite since it allows seamless casting from your laptop or phone and it feels like the snappiest of all the TV OS I've tried. It's suitable for gaming, with 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rates, including FreeSync Premium Pro and Dolby Vision gaming. The built-in speakers are only average quality, so you might want to use some of your savings for a good soundbar and subwoofer.

The Mini Version of the Beloved Bissell Green Machine Is 20% Off for October Prime Day

5 October 2026 at 19:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

There's a reason Bissell's Little Green Machine has a dedicated following among pet owners (not to mention kid owners): It's a powerful upholstery cleaning tool that can do the work of an upright steam cleaner and can be carried in one hand. But there's an even more compact version, the Bissell Little Green Mini Portable Carpet Cleaner, that's just as powerful and even more portable, making it an especially good bet for, say, cleaning out your car after taking your dog on a long road trip. Right now, you can grab one for $79.99 (originally $99.99), 20% off the usual price during October Prime Day sale.

As the name implies, this thing is small. It weighs in at only seven pounds, making it the lightest and most compact carpet cleaner in Bissell's lineup. It's easy to take it up or down stairs, into a car, or anywhere else around the house you need deep-cleaning power. You fill up the water tank, add cleaning solution, spray the stain, scrub it with the attached tool, and the machine will suck the dirty liquid back into a separate tank.

The Little Green Mini is great for pet messes (I've used it on the rug more times than I'd like to admit), spills, stains, and dirt on carpets, rugs, and furniture. Because of its small size, it's also easy to stow away. It includes a four-inch Tough Stain Tool, a hand-held attachment to scrub the affected areas. The water tank can hold up to 16 ounces, and the dirty water tank, 13.5 ouncesβ€”pretty small, but that's the tradeoff for more portability. The main hose is four feet long, and the power cord is 12 feet long. It comes with an eight-ounce bottle of Bissell Little Green Oxy formula for cleaning, but when that runs out, you can use most any carpet cleaning solution you want.

If you don't need or want a massive machine to clean your messes, or want something portable to go up or down stairs or that fits easily into a vehicle, the Bissell Little Green Mini Portable Carpet Cleaner is a great option at the current 20% discount.

You're not having dΓ©jΓ  vu: Amazon did just have a big sale in July. This time, though, it's their fall saleβ€”Prime Big Deal Days, better known as October Prime Day. The sale is officially underway from Oct. 6-7, and we're all over it. Remember to check price-tracking tools so you can trust that the sales we're talking about are actually good deals, and not just hype.

Remember, you need to be a Prime Member to access all of Amazon's Prime Day deals and to get free shipping. Prime membership starts at $14.99 per month ($139 per year) and comes with more benefits than people think. It's easy to figure out whether a yearly Prime membership is worth it for you, but remember, you can always cancel your Prime membership once the sale is over, as Amazon offers free 30-day trials. You can shop the entire event and still have time to cancel before you're charged.

For a glimpse of the best deals as we find them, check out our live blog of the event below, featuring the Lifehacker team's coverage of Prime Day. We'll continue highlighting new deals as we find them. Our sister brands have live blogs worth checking out, too, including CNET, PCMag, ZDNET, and Mashable.

The Best Deals on Anker Tech During the October Prime Day Sale

5 October 2026 at 21:31

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Anker has really made a name for itself outside of their batteries, expanding to headphones, speakers, projectors, and other tech products. Their power stations are still one of the most recognized in the industry, but their other products are climbing up their respective ladders as well. There are many Anker products on sale right now during the October Prime Day sale, and I've rounded up the best power banks, headphones, and power stations I could find. I'll keep updating this list as more Anker products are discounted throughout the sale.

The best Anker power station deals during the October Prime Day sale

The best deal on a power station is the Anker SOLIX S2000, which is 43% off right now, landing at $679.99 (originally $1,199). I own an Anker power station that is slightly bigger than this one, and I can vouch for their quality and practicality. The S200 is great for anyone who lives in a house that is prone to losing power during a storm or anyone looking for a compact but powerful portable power station they can take to a backyard or camping. It can power an average fridge for 35 hours, according to Anker, which gives you an idea of how powerful the S200 is. The best time to buy a power bank is when they're massively discounted, not when the food in your fridge is spoiling from a power outage.

Other Anker power station deals

The best power bank deals during the October Prime Day sale

There is something about having a charging station for all of your devices that gives me a sense of peace. Maybe it's practicality or organization, but I love it. The Anker Qi2.2 Foldable MagSafe Charger can do that for your phone, smartwatch, and earbuds all at once. It also props your phone up as a stand. Right now, it's $119.99 (originally $149.99), after a 20% discount.

Other power bank deals

The best Anker headphone deals during the October Prime Day sale

The world might have you convinced that you need to spend upwards of $100 to get good headphones, but the Anker Soundcore Q20i headphones break that notion with a $39.99 (originally $69.99) pair. These headphones have most of the features you'd expect from a flagship headphone, like ANC, High-Res audio, long battery life of up to 40 hours with ANC on, and an incredible app. You really don't need to spend big to get good headphones in 2026.

The Best Deals on Sony Tech During October Prime Day

6 October 2026 at 16:36

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

October Prime Day is here through Wednesday, Oct. 7, with some great sales giving you an opportunity to snatch some products at big discounts. One major brand participating in the sales is Sony, with many TVs, sound systems, and headphones already on sale. I've rounded up the best deals I've found so far for you below.

The best Sony TV deals during the October Prime Day sale

The Sony 65 Inch Bravia 8 II is down to $2,498 (originally $3,299), 24% off. The Bravia 8 II earned an "Excellent" rating from PCMag for its gorgeous picture quality and a central channel input that uses the TV's built-in speakers as part of a surround sound setup. It is also one of the only high-end OLEDs that uses Google TV (my favorite) as its smart TV platform. This is a great option for anyone looking for great OLED picture quality, high brightness, a colorful panel, and built-in Google TV at a great price.

Other Sony TV deals

The best Sony soundbar deals during the October Prime Day sale

Speaking of surround sound systems, the Sony S100F 2.0ch Soundbar would pair well with the Bravia 8 II. It's compact and slim, affordable under $100, and will sync up seamlessly with the TV. If you're the kind of person shopping for an OLED TV, you're likely the kind of person who cares about other details like audio, and no matter how many times a company promises how great their TV speakers are, a soundbar will always be exponentially better.

Other Sony soundbar deals

Best Sony headphones deals during the October Prime Day sale

The Sony WH-1000XM5 are last year's model, but still excellent headphones in 2026, despite being recently overtaken by the Sony WH-1000XM6. Right now, Amazon is heavily discounting refurbished Sony WH-1000XM5s, meaning you can get these premium headphones for just $159.99 (originally $399 new). That is a great way to get your hands on a pair of flagship Sony headphones for a steal.

How to Sign up for Amazon's β€˜Invite-Only’ Deals During October Prime Day

30 September 2026 at 21:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page.

Not all Prime Day deals are open to just anybody. Since 2023, some of the best offers in Amazon's biggest sales are invite-onlyβ€”meaning you have to sign up for them in advance of the sale going live, and hope you get chosen to receive the discount. These deals have become a common fixture for Amazon's major sales, including this summer's Prime Day.

With the October Prime Day sale kicking off on October 6, you can expect to see more invite-only deals popping up around the site. Here's how to find and sign up for them, so you have a fighting chance at scoring some great offers.

Who is eligible for Prime Day invite-only deals?

Only a select number of products will be available via invite-only deals. You'll be able to spot them by the "invite-only" banner visible on the product page. As Amazon explains, you must be a Prime Member to sign up for the invite-only deals, and when you sign up, you're essentially requesting an invitation to purchase the deal, which will come by emailβ€”but only if you're chosen to receive it.

Here are the steps to sign up:

  1. Find an "Invite-Only Prime Deal" that you want to purchase. You can find these deals listed on the Deals page once Prime Day begins.

  2. Navigate to the product detail page.

  3. Select "Request Invite." If you are not a Prime member, sign up for Prime to be able to request an invite.

  4. You will receive an email notification confirming that you requested an invite. The confirmation will be sent to the email that is on your Amazon account. If you don't have an email on your account, add one by navigating to Your Account > Login > Security.

How to know if you were approved for an invite-only deal

Keep in mind that just because you requested an invitation doesn't mean you'll receive one. If you are selected, you'll receive both a push notification in the Amazon app and email notifying you during the sale. If you're not selected, Amazon will also let you know you didn't get one. You can only buy one of the products that you were invited for, but you can request as many different product invitations as you want. The invitation will last as long as the sale lasts, or as long as there is stick remaining.

Invite-only deals are usually some of the sale's most impressive offerings. One year, for example, Amazon sold a 43-inch 4K Smart Fire TV for just $99, and you'll likely see similar deals this year. Amazon has not promoted Invite-only Deals in their press releases for Prime Day like they've done in the past, but they've also not said the program is discontinued. Keep an eye out for these banners starting October 6. If you see them, you'll know what to do.

The Best Deals on Tablets and iPads During October Prime Day

6 October 2026 at 16:32

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

October Prime Day is here, meaning you can shop for some pretty great deals right now. I've searched Amazon for the best deals on tablets and vetted them with price tracking tools. While only one of the best tablets of 2026 made it onto the list below, all of these devices are great deals at their current prices.

The iPad 11th-Gen is $427 right now

iPads were one of the many tech products that went up in price dramatically in 2026 due to ongoing RAM crisis, so it's nice to see this model get a discount, even if it's not that big. Right now, the iPad 11-inch with the A16 chip is $427 (originally $449). This is the 128 GB version, which is one of the most affordable iPads. It supports the Apple Pencil, is bright and colorful, and is considered the best tablet for most people.

A like- new Kindle Scribe is nearly half the price of a new one

Kindle Scribes are expensiveβ€”the 64GB can run for nearly half a grandβ€”but you can get a "like-new" 64GB version for $319.99 right now. The 16GB version is $284.99, but the upgrade in storage is worth the $35 difference. It's unlikely you'll find a better deal on s like-new Scribe during this sale.

The TCL NXTPAPER 14 is $120 off

TCL started venturing into tablets in 2020, and their latest tablet, the NXTPAPER 14, came out this year. Right now, it's at its lowest price ever: $349.98 (originally $469.99). This tablet has a 14.3-inch matte screen with different viewing modes for reading, streaming video, and writing. While it's not the most portable due to the size, its design makes it versatile, and perfect for people who want a tablet that can do a bit of everything.

The Xteink X4 Classic pocket e-reader is just $76

Pocket readers seem to be gaining popularity lately, with more companies making new models of these hyper-small reading tablets. The Xteink X4 Classic is particularly small: At just four inches (about the size of a credit card), you can fit comfortably into almost any pocket. This is the second generation of the device, which came out in early September, and it's incredibly affordable: At $75.99 (originally $89), it's around half the price of the entry-level Kindle.

The Fire HD 10 tablet is 53% off

Right now, the Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet is more affordable than ever: It's currently 53% off, bringing its price down to a record low of $72.99. (Note that this deal is for the version of the device with lock-screen ads.) While this tablet won't win any awards for offering the latest and best specs, it's an incredible value for the price, and it can probably handle all the basic tasks you'd ask of a tablet.

These Are the Best Headphones on Sale Right Now for October Prime Day

6 October 2026 at 16:53

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

October Prime Day is here, and it's a great time to pull the trigger on a pair of headphones, with many big brands already discounting their flagship models to all-time lows. I've gathered the best deals on some of the biggest brands currently available on Amazon right now. If you see a pair that speaks to you, these sales are a good deal.

Bose's open earbuds are $83 off

TheΒ Ultra Open EarbudsΒ are Bose's attempt at riding the trending tech wave of open earbuds that allow you to hear your surroundings, rather than canceling them, and they're a pretty good option at that,Β earning an 8/10 from my colleagues at CNET. And at their current price of $199.99 (originally $299.99), they are alsoΒ something of a steal.

The Sony WH-CH720N are just $98

Not everyone needs or can spend nearly half a grand on the latest Sony headphones. If you are looking for a bargain on a budget, then perhaps the more affordableΒ Sony WH-CH720NΒ are for you. While they're not quite as premium, they're significantly cheaper and offer good enough quality for most people. You can get them forΒ $103.99Β (originally $179.99) on Amazon right now.

The older and refurbished Sony 1000XM5 are just $160

If you don't need the latest XM6 headphones and are good with the older XM5 versionβ€”which are still incredible headphonesβ€”a refurbished pair is $159.99 on Amazon. A new pair will run you $298, which is still a pretty good deal compared to the $399.99 launch price.

The Beats Fit Pro earbuds are $70 off

The Beats Fit Pro (1st Gen) earbuds aren’t the newest exercise earbuds on the market (or even on the Beats lineβ€”that would be the Powerbeats Pro 2), but they’re a classic option with ANC and a comfortable fit, making them a sportier version of AirPods Pro, with a slight edge when it comes to battery life. You can get a pair in white or pink for $124.95 (originally $199.95), the lowest price ever.

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are $50 off

If you value comfort, user-friendliness, and the best ANC for the money, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd gen) are your best option. And right now, the latter of those is $50 off, bringing them down to $249 (originally $299). I've had my own pair of Bose earbuds for over a year, and they're still my go-to choice for everyday listening. As much as I like the idea of being able to fine-tune every detail of my audio, something keeps pulling me toward the simplicity and user-friendliness of these earbuds, despite having so many options at my disposal as a tech reviewer.

Sam's Club Has Some Great Tech Deals to Compete With October Prime Day

28 September 2026 at 20:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

With October Prime Day around the corner, other retailers are starting their own competing sales in the hopes of getting a slice of your business. Sam's Club is one of them, and although they haven't officially announced a sale for the same timeframe as October Prime Day, they are currently offering tech deals in different categories that are worth considering. One of the biggest is a discount on a membership, which you can get for 50% off right now. Below are the best tech deals I've found so far from the wholesaler in the lead-up to Amazon's big fall sale.

Best Sam's Club TV deals

The QN70F Neo QLED TV is Samsung’s attempt at incorporating AI tech into its QLED TVs. This is a midrange QLED TV with a sizeable $500 discount that makes it a great buy, especially for an 85-inch TV. At $1,198 (originally $1,698), its lack of Dolby Vision support and middling HDR feel more palatable, and the AI enhancements, brightness, and low input lag with a high refresh rate are a nice bonus.

Other TV deals:

Best Sam's Club security camera deals

I hate products that require subscriptions, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I always look for security cameras with local storage and no restrictions on app features. Night Owl's two-pack of wired 4K security cameras are a good bet in this regard. They're currently $149 (down from $179)β€”though you'll need to get a Night Owl Flex Protect DVR to save your footage locally.

Other security camera deals:

Best Sam's Club monitor deals

ThisΒ 49-inch Samsung OdysseyΒ is a gaming monitor with some impressive specs, including a 240Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time. It's available for $699.99 (originally $899.99). It's aΒ curved ultrawide monitor with a massive screen that makes gaming much more immersive.

Other gaming monitor deals:

Best Sam's Club laptop deals

The Samsung Galaxy Book4 is an ultra-portable laptop with a 15.6-inch display, an Intel Core 7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB storage. Personally, I think these are the minimum specs you should be shopping for in 2026; anything below that risks becoming outdated very quickly. At $749 (originally $899), it's a great option for students or anyone who values portability and performance over the beefiest specs.

Everything You Need to Know About the October Prime Day Sale

25 September 2026 at 19:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

It feels like Amazon's Prime Day 2026 sale just ended, but the company isn't done targeting your wallet yet. The fall version of the mega-sale, known as Prime Big Deal Days, is just around the corner.

Here is everything you need to know to prepare for the fall's biggest sale (at least until Black Friday rolls around).

What is Prime Big Deal Days?

You can think of Prime Big Deal Days as fall's answer to Prime Day. It's a two-day sale with deals in virtually every category you can think of. While Prime Day is the bigger sale of the two, Prime Big Deal Days has grown substantially since its first iteration back in 2022.

When is Prime Big Deal Days this year?

Amazon announced Prime Big Deal Days 2026 will take place from Oct. 6–7. This is the fifth year for Amazon's fall Prime Day sale.

Do you need to be a Prime Member to shop during Prime Big Deal Days?

Yes, you will need to be a Prime Member to shop the exclusive sales during Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days. Prime membership starts at $14.99 per month. While only you can decide if buying a yearly Prime membership is worth it for you, remember you can always sign up and then cancel your Prime membership once the sale is over: Amazon offers a free 30-day trial, and students get six months for free, so you can shop both days of the event (and even get some early Black Friday deals) before canceling without being charged. Here's how to sign up for a Prime account and all of the benefits that come with it.

What sales you can expect during Prime Big Deal Days

Prime Day happens in the summer, when you're more likely to see deals on outdoorsy stuff, like gardening equipment, grills, and hot tubs, in addition to the usual tech and Amazon device deals. Since Prime Big Deal Days happens in the fall, you're likely to see more deals on gaming and indoor gym equipment. Amazon has already announced some of the 35 categories that will be on sale, including beauty, tech, kitchen, fashion, and home. Some brands Amazon has already mentioned are: Shark, Princess Polly, Soundcore by Anker, UGG, Nest New York, Sony, Tarte, Adidas, and Barefoot Dreams.

Keep an eye on "Today’s Big Deals," since that's where you'll see the biggest discounts from major brands, according to Amazon's press release. Amazon also teased deals for up to 45% off Amazon devices, kitchen appliances for up to 40% off, print books for up to 65% off, 75% off grocery items, and 50% off "game day essentials."

Do Prime Day deals get better closer to the event, or should I buy early?

Prime deals that have reached their lowest price ever are unlikely to drop any lower come October Prime Day. However, other deals that have been lower historically are likely to drop even further during October 6th and 7th. You can check the price history with our price tracking tools, like Camelcamelcamel, or you can follow our coverage where we do all the work for you.

Can I return items bought during Prime Big Deal Days?

Yes, you can return any products you bought during Prime Big Deal Days and have a full refund, granted you return them during Amazon's return window of 30 days from delivery.

What other retailers run sales to compete with Prime Day?

As in past years, you can expect major retailers to have their own competitive sales. So far, Target and Walmart have already announced their sales, and Best Buy is sure to follow suit soon.

Some early Prime Big Deal Days deals are already live

As is usually the case, Amazon likes to kick off its sales with early deals in the lead-up to the main event. You can browse around on the main Prime Big Deal Days landing page to see what's available right now. Some highlights:

Some tips for a successful Prime Big Deal Days

If this will be your first October Prime Day, there are some basic things you need to know about Amazon sales:

But if you only take one bit of advice for shopping on Prime Big Deal Days, let it be this one: Don't buy anything you weren't going to buy anyway. A good way to make sure you do this is by making a list of the products you do want and only having eyes for those.

The Best Amazon Prime Benefits You Probably Don't Know About

24 September 2026 at 21:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page.

If you’re going to commit to an Amazon Prime membership, you might as well squeeze as much as you can out of the deal. And there's a good amount of juice to squeeze there. The price you pay for Amazon depends on many factors, but regardless of how much you're paying, it's worth it for most people (we've done the math).

If you're on the fence about signing up, consider that Amazon's October Prime Day sale is just around the corner, and the company is already hosting some early Prime Day deals. It's a great time to sell your soulβ€”or take advantage of the 30-day free trialβ€”and there's a lot more to your membership than just deals and free shipping.

How much does Amazon Prime cost?

The standard Prime membership costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, but there are other tiers that some people might qualify for. For example, the Amazon Prime Student program allows young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 to get all of the Prime perks for half the costβ€”$7.49 per month or $69 annually.

All the benefits of Amazon Prime

I'll be the first to admit I didn't know all of the benefits that Amazon Prime offers to its members. There are a lot more perks than people think. Here are the most impressive ones (and check out the full list):

Fast, free shipping

  • Fast free shipping on millions of items: Depending on where you live, shipping can take one or two days, and some even come on the same day for orders of $25 or more in most areasβ€”and it’s always free (if being shipped by the Amazon store).

  • Select pre-ordered items can be delivered on their release date for free (for most areas).

  • The option to have items delivered inside your garage with a smart garage device (depending on where you live) for $1.99 per order, or for free if you combine it with Amazon Day delivery.

  • Earn rewards for future purchases when you select free no-rush shipping.

  • The option to have all your weekly orders delivered on a specific day, to reduce waste from boxes.

Deals, savings, and sales

  • Amazon Prime Visa card: Cardholders get 5% back on Amazon, Whole Foods, Chase Travel, and other purchases. Prime members who use this card extensively can earn rewards that offset the cost of membership.

  • A Grubhub+ membership, normally $9.99 per month, which gets you free delivery on eligible orders, lower service fees, exclusive deals, and other perks as long as you remain a Prime Member (it used to be only for a year).Β

  • Sharing with family or friends: Amazon Family is the existing program for sharing Prime benefits, and it allows you to add separate profiles for one other adult who lives in the same household as the primary account holder, and up to four kids. This grants access to all the standard benefits, such as free delivery, Prime Video with ads, Prime Reading, third-party benefits like Grubhub, and access to audiobooks, e-books, certain games, and Amazon Music.

Medical care

  • Amazon Health: Prime users get One Medical access for an additional $9 per month. Through your devices, you’ll have 24/7 access to on-demand virtual care, plus real-life access to primary care offices in a number of U.S. cities. It accepts most major health insurance plans, too.

  • Amazon Pharmacy: Access to free two-day delivery and other savings on medications.

These Are the Best Price-Tracking Tools I Use As a Deals Writer

If you’ve ever felt like you were duped by overpaying for something that was advertised as a β€œgreat deal,” you’re in the right place. It’s easy to get caught up in frenzied online shopping holidaysβ€” especially when retailers sometimesΒ sneak price hikes before major sales (Amazon's upcoming October Prime Day sale included) or deceive shoppers with tricks to get you to spend more than you intended to.

Figuring out the best time to buy something requires constantly watching ever-fluctuating online prices and some knowledge of how prices have changed in the past. As a shopping editor, that is what I do for a living, and I know how time-consuming it can be. Luckily, you don’t have to figure it all out yourself: Here are the best websites and extensions I've been using for years to check price history and track prices so that you can be sure you’re getting the best deal possible.

The best Amazon price tracker: Camelcamelcamel

Camelcamelcamel price history on website
Credit: Camelcamelcamel.com

CamelCamelCamel is among the best ways to track prices on Amazon products. You can install the browser extension (on Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Safari) to get access to the site’s features without leaving Amazon, or you can just copy and paste an Amazon link or product name to the website’s search bar. CamelCamelCamel shows you how the price of the item has gone up or down over time, how prices have changed through Amazon directly, and the fluctuations from third-party Amazon sellers who list new and used items.

If you sign up for a free account, you can set up alerts so the site can notify you by email when the price of an item drops below a certain amount, if you can get it used for a given price, or if it’s at an all-time low and now is a good time to buy. You can even see previous historic highs and lows and try to map out the best time to strike.

The best price tracker for most online retailers and to compare prices: Honey

Honey price history on website

You've probably already heard of the "Honey influencer scam" that blew up in December of 2024. Essentially, Honey hijacked affiliate links from influencers who were sponsoring them. Also, in many instances, it deliberately chose not to give the best coupons to users who used the extension (going completely against its business model). Honey is not alone in this behavior. Many coupon aggregator companies hijack affiliate links; Honey just happens to be in the spotlight because it's the biggest one. Use your own judgment if you choose to use any of its services.

The bad news for those looking for a price-tracking tool that can be used for most online retailers is that Honey is the only option. The good news is that Honey's price-tracking tool can't scam you or give you subpar coupons. The Honey browser extension compares prices from a whole bunch of retailers, not just Amazon. You can create a Droplist, which notifies you if the prices drop for an item on your list if you’re willing to wait for a deal. Here is what creating a Droplist can do for you:

First, it’ll keep the items you want to keep tabs on organized and easily accessible. Second, it’ll track the prices of those products and alert you when they go on sale at any major retailer. You can see how much those prices cost leading up to the sale to see if they are, in fact, good deals or a trick from retailers to take advantage of you, and even compare them with other major retailers to see who has the best deal. You can see how to set up your droplist here.ο»Ώ

As long as you don't buy the products using a Honey link, you won't be giving money to the service. Until there's a better alternative, Honey is the only option that can instantly pull up price histories and track prices for multiple retailers with a browser extension (for now).

The best tool to compare prices: Capital One Shopping

Screenshot from Amazon using the Capital One Shopping browser extension
Credit: Amazon.com

Capital One Shopping, previously known as Wikibuy, compares prices from other sellers when you shop on Amazon. You can simply type any product into the search bar on top and start analyzing it. If you choose to use the browser extension, it will notify you if a product you are looking at is cheaper somewhere else, and offer a summary of pricing history, estimated delivery time, and total price, including tax and shipping. If you can apply a coupon, it’ll add that as well. When the price drops for a product you’ve viewed, Capital One Shopping will notify you. When you shop, you can earn credits for your purchases at some websites, like Walmart and eBay, that Capital One Shopping has partnered with. You can trade that credit for gift cards or put it toward purchases through Capital One Shopping’s site.

The extension is available for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari, and an iOS app allows you to scan barcodes and search products to do price comparisons from your phone.

The best price tracker tool for gamers: CheapShark

Three stores on the CheapShark website showing you discounts
Credit: CheapShark.com

While most of the others in the roundup focus on products like electronics, apparel, household goods, and appliances, CheapShark is a great option for those looking to save money on video games. CheapShark combines all of the great places to get discounts on games in one place, one easily searchable directory and database of current prices from sites including Steam, GoG, Green Man Gaming, GameStop, Amazon, and more. Of course, it’s limited to video games, but you can search a game name not just to see how much it’ll cost you to buy, but even if you can buy it at allβ€”and which retailer has it available. If you want, you can even filter by games currently on sale at their selected stores.

When you search for a specific game, CheapShark tells you what the cheapest-ever price was, when it hit that price, and gives you the choice to either go ahead and buy it from your choice of retailer or to sign up for a price notification if it drops again.

Honorable mentions

Amazon's own price history

Amazon Price History
Credit: Amazon Rufus AI

No need to download any extension or activate any application. Amazon's own price history is located right next to every item's list price, and opens a side window that shows you the price activity from the last 30 days. You can expand it up to 90 days as well. I've found this tool to be helpful when Camelcamelcamel or Keepa don't have information (which is rare). Amazon uses its AI technology, Rufus, to track these prices. It's disappointing that there are no details as to what prices are included in on-page coupons, since the only one with this information would be Amazon. But they wouldn't benefit much from telling you this, so it makes sense to keep it to itself.

Keepa: Practical price-tracking tool for Amazon and eBay

Price history of the AirPods on Amazon
Credit: Amazon.com using the Keepa browser extension

Keepa works very similarly to Camelcamelcamel, but instead of clicking on the extension to see the price history, it'll be automatically displayed below the image of the product. This helps if clicking on the extension or installing is one click too much for you. Keepa also lets you track specific products and sends you notifications when they go below a specific price that you set. It also works on eBay. You can download the extension for Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Edge, and Safari.

SlickDeals: Great for finding deals and checking prices

SlickDeals is known for bringing you up-to-the-minute discounts, coupons, and other deals from around the web, but its web-based price tracker is also great for watching prices on just about any item on Amazon and on a ton of other popular shopping sites, like Newegg, Gamestop, Chewy, Home Depot, and others.

Price history from SlickDeals for Nintendo Switch OLED
Credit: SlickDeals

The service doesn’t give you a detailed price history like some of the others in the roundupβ€”it only shows a β€œdeal history” under the β€œprice intelligence” section for a few popular products. However, it will track the price of your item from when you create an alert and send you an email if the price drops below a threshold that you set. You can also return to the price tracker at any time, log in to your account, and see all of your tracked items on the same screen.

My Favorite Earbuds for Sleep Are $60 Off Right Now

5 August 2026 at 18:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

I've been a fan of Soundcore's Sleep A20 earbuds since I first put them on to go to sleep over two years ago. I've never experienced earbuds that feel so comfortable when sleeping on your side. But that model was missing one crucial feature: ANC. The new Sleep A30 Special earbuds have taken care of that, and moreβ€”and despite their release this January, they're already significantly discounted. Right now, you can get them for $168.99 (originally $229.99), the lowest price ever, according to price-tracking tools.

As noted in Mashable's review, the Sleep A30 Special are the most popular and arguably the best sleeping earbuds you can buy right now. They're designed for sleep in every way: Side sleepers can doze off without feeling pressure in their ears, since the earbuds sit comfortably inside, and with the addition of ANC, you can now block more outside noise than before.

The battery life isn't the best, but this new Special version from 2026 will get you through the night: You can get eight to 10 hours of juice with ANC on, with some variation depending on your settings. There's also some cool tech and features designed for sleeping: The companion app lets you set a timer for your music so you don't drain the battery after you've fallen asleep; the earbuds now integrate with the Calm app for sleep-focused meditations and sleep stories; the charging case's microphones use Adaptive snore masking to block snoring sounds by increasing white noise; and the app includes an alarm and sleep-tracking features.

All in all, I really can't recommend these earbuds enough to anyone who values quality sleep and doesn't mind wearing earbuds to bed. If the ANC isn't a big deal to you and you're looking to spend a bit less, the Sleep A20 or a refurbished Sleep A30 Special pair are cheaper options.

This Massive Mini LED QLED From TCL Is $800 Off Right Now

I've been raving about the good value TCL QLED TVs offer ever since I tested the QM7. With time, TCL has been pushing what consumers can get in the market even further. I covered the great deal on the more premium QM8L last week, and now the midrange version, the QM7L, is getting its turn in the deal spotlight. Right now, the 85-inch version is $1,697.99 (originally $2,499.99) after a 32% discount. That's the lowest this 2026 mini-LED TV has been, according to price tracking tools. Other sizes are also seeing great discounts right now.

As mentioned, the QM7L sits between the more budget QM6L and the more premium QM8L. It is available from 55 inches up to 98 inches. All sizes will have a different number of dimming zones: In this case, the 85-inch version has 1,624. Thanks to these dimming zones, the QM7L's contrast is strong. That helps black levels look deep and bold, even when scenes have bright areas (especially noticeable around subtitles).

This TV advertises a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, but reviews suggest it's actually higher, up to 3,500. Its glossy display could help lessen reflections from sunlight, but you'll notice rainbow smearing if you have a direct light in front of the TV. The biggest con of the QM7L, however, is the color accuracy. Reviews like this find the image will look warmer out of the box than intended, and the HDR content will have a blue tint, so people who want to experience colors as the creators intended might not like this. However, the TV can always be professionally calibrated.

The biggest selling point of the QM7L is the value for the price. Coming in at over $1,000 less than the QM8L for the 85-inch version, it makes a strong case for those who want a lot of the same premium features and specs without breaking the bank. If you're looking for a great deal on a midrange Mini-LED QLED from 2026, the QM7L is at a great price right now.

The New Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro Are Already 35% Off (With a Caveat)

4 August 2026 at 17:00

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

Samsung released its latest earbud lineup during the Samsung Unpacked 2026 event in January, and now, Woot is offering an excellent deal for the flagship Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. If you don't mind the international versionβ€”which means you'd miss out on the standard manufacturer’s warranty (but still get Woot's 90-day limited guarantee)β€”you can get the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro for $161.99 (originally $249.99). That's nearly $90 in savings for an otherwise identical new pair, and cheaper than the refurbished version or the more budget Galaxy Buds 4.

Samsung wants to compete with Apple with a similar design, features, and even price point. The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 are strikingly similar to the Apple AirPods 4 in their design, with noise cancellation and the absence of silicone eartips that go inside your ears. They come with Hi-Res audio, IP54 for water resistance, a Live Translation feature similar to Apple's, a new design, improvements in call quality, and direct access to ask questions to AI and receive responses through the earbuds. The controls are swipe and pinch, and the charging case comes in black or white.

It's also easy to draw the similarities between the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and the Apple AirPods Pro 3. Apart from both being $249, the most obvious similarity is the in-ear silicone tip design that helps seal the noise and improve ANC. The Pros have all of the same features as the Buds 4, and are supposed to be more comfortable, have better ANC, which Samsung calls ANC 2.0; have a better water resistance with an IP57 rating, which handles immersion in water up to 1 meter; and perhaps more importantly, a two-way speaker (as opposed to a one-way on the Buds 4) that is meant to deliver better, high-fidelity sound, superior separation of frequencies, and reduced distortion. PCMag called these earbuds "excellent" in their review for their audio and integration with Samsung phones.

TCL has been pushing the boundaries of QLED TVs, making some of the best in the market at very competitive prices. This year, the company released its QM8L model, introducing a new design and impressive features and specs to a series that isn't even their flagship. Right now, the 65-inch QM8L is $1,497.99 (originally $2,499.99), its lowest price since it launched in April, according to price tracking tools.

One of the first things you'll notice about the QM8L is the β€œZero Border” bezel design, which gives it a modern, minimalistic look. When you turn it on, you'll likely note how bright this TV gets, which is a huge advantage QLEDs have over OLEDs. TCL claims it reaches 6,000 nits, and seeing as the brightest OLED TV on the market only reaches 700 nits, no OLED can come close to this unit's brightness. Another important spec to note here is the local dimming zones: TCL claims this TV has up to 4,000, which means it gets top-tier backlight control, limited light blooming (thanks in part to TCL's "Halo Control"), and incredible contrast levels that some might not be able to distinguish from an OLED.

While many of us won't manually calibrate our TVs, the picture modes you can switch to in the settings here will be most people's go-to. This TV's "Filmmaker mode" provides accurate color and picture, and, if you're a gamer, you can use the native 144Hz high-refresh rate. If you don't already have a surround sound system at home and want to keep a minimalist setup, the QM8L comes with Dolby Atmos-ready Bang & Olufsen speakers, which offer above-average audio output compared to most TVs. You can read more about these features on CNET's 8.8/10 review. If 65 inches isn't quite right for your home theater setup, take a look at the QM8L's other sizes, which are also discounted right now.

This Is the Robot Vacuum I Use Every Day, and It's 47% Off Right Now

29 July 2026 at 22:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

I live in a 1,600 sf home, and vacuuming and mopping it by hand takes a considerable chunk of time. Passing that labor off to a robot vacuum was a great decision. I decided to go with the Roborock Qrevo CurvX since it seemed like a great fit for my circumstances. If you also have a dog, a mix of different floor types, and a gym with a workout mat, this robot vacuum might work for you as well. Amazon currently has it for $799.99 (originally $1,499.99), a 47% discount and the lowest price it has ever been, according to price tracking tools.

One of the main things I was looking for in a robot vacuum was suction power. The Qrevo CurvX has 22,000 Pa, which is stronger than most options at its price, and powerful enough to pick up anything that needs vacuuming up in my house. I like that it has a self-lifting chassis so it can climb over my workout mat, rugs, obstacles like cables, or anything else that might be in the way, so I don't have to babysit it while it's doing its job. I also like the extendable mop pads and side brushes that allow it to reach corners and crevices it might not be slim enough to fit into. (Speaking of which, it's only 3.14 inches tall, so it can fit under most couches and beds without issue.)

My experience with the Roborock app has been great. It's easy to use and gives me enough control to clean my house how I want to, without a hassle. "No Go Zones" are easy to set up, as is the schedule. The main issue I've had is the size of the internal dust bin: It's small, so it needs to be cleaned after basically every scheduled use (though that shouldn't be as bad if you don't have a pet that sheds a lot).

Take it from me: If you're looking for a reliable hybrid robot vacuum that can clean multiple types of floors, mop, and comes a great app, the Qrevo CurvX makes a compelling case at the current $700 discount.

This Ultra-Thin QLED TV Is 45% Off Right Now

29 July 2026 at 18:30

We may earn a commission from links on this page. Deal pricing and availability subject to change after time of publication.

QLEDs are the mid-tier TV option, sandwiched firmly between cheaper LEDs and premium OLEDsβ€”but there's a wide range within that QLED category, too. The Hisense E7SF QLED is in the low to mid-range of that category, but with its 45% discount, the price is much lower. Amazon currently has the 65-inch E7SF QLED for $548.99 (originally $999.99), which is especially notable given this model came out in April of 2026.

The first thing you'll notice about the Hisense E7 is how thin and lightweight it is. It comes with four HDMI connections, one of which is an eARC connection so you can plug in a soundbar, and two with a native 144Hz refresh rate in game mode. Like most new TVs these days, it'll be 4K and have AI modes that improve picture quality. This will be most noticeable when watching sports; the TV will recognize the content and automatically switch the picture settings to sports mode. Because this is a Fire TV, it'll come with built-in Alexa+, which is a nice touch for those already in the Alexa ecosystem. You can also install Kodi to watch virtually anything for free.

Another standout feature is the support for Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos, which can make your streaming much more immersive, making your TV adapt its picture in real time to its environment and giving you a 3D surround sound experience if you have a sound system. For its price, this is an excellent choice for someone looking to upgrade their TV to a new 2026 QLED without breaking the bank.
